EA Site Survey May 5 2008, 06:54 PM Chronojam |
Hey guys, have you ever checked out the official C&C site, or any EA site for that matter? If so, please take this survey so they can identify problem areas and make adjustments as neccessary. This link is C&C-site specific, mind you. Turns out Apoc has a little competition with the Sims community manager to see who gets more survey hits... I don't think we can defeat the rabid Sims fans, but please take the survey anyway.
In particular, let me ask you to be sure to evaluate your experiences with the movie quality and forum experience over there. If you haven't seen it before, be sure to check out the EA UK forums and yearn for a better official board for C&C...
I've been a little busy so I'm not sure I have time to write up a blog for this past weekend. A few days ago one of my favorite high school teachers just died from cancer, he was only 35, and the funeral was this morning, so I didn't get around to doing it then. |

Server Downtime Today/Tonight! Apr 13 2008, 06:55 AM oxi |
I have posted this before but this is a quick reminder:
QUOTE SoftLayer Engineers will be performing upgrade maintenance on the customer router some of your servers connect through on Sunday April 13th starting at 3:00am CDT. During this time, engineers will be swapping out the existing supervisor engines (SUP720-3BXL) with new Cisco best of breed supervisor engines (VS-S720-10G-3CXL) on FCR01.DAL01. As this router provides direct connectivity to your server(s), public internet connectivity will be unavailable at various points during the above maintenance window. Private network connectivity will remain functional throughout the maintenance window. Although we expect this upgrade of the supervisor engines to only take approximately 15 minutes, we have scheduled a maintenance window from 3:00am to 5am CDT.
So both the irc server (irc.mp-gaming.com) and the APB game server will be down until I get home from work or worst case scenario wake up the next day. |

APB History: Now in Russian Apr 11 2008, 10:25 AM Chronojam |
Hey, comrades. CRYS just contacted me to let me know that he's helped Alex103 translate APB's history into Russian, and they've posted it up at Renegade.Net.Ru, a Russian fan site. He's included some pictures of the older versions, too, in case you are curious what things looked like in the old days. Go have a look right here
CRYS hunted down all the older versions to get screenshots and just for the sake of collecting them. Of course you can read the original history written by Pointlessambler in English on our website right here. |
