Allied Technology Overview
The Allied forces rely primarily on advantages in mobility, battlefield awareness, and high-tech innovations, as well as superior strategy and planning to win their encounters with the Soviets. As a result of being constantly outgunned by Soviet armor brigades, it is essential for Allied commanders to exploit the special capabilities of their lighter vehicles and leverage their superior infantry training in order to achieve a victory over their more brute-force foe.
Mobility
Allied vehicles tend to be suitable for rough terrain, traversing flat ground and scaling slopes more effectively than Soviet forces can. Allied Light Tanks trade armor and firepower for unmatched speed among the main battle tanks, enabling them to conduct quick raids and evade being hit by incoming Soviet shells. The APC lets commanders get their men into combat quick and come home safe. The Longbow attack helicopter is a swift gunship capable of chasing down any Soviet vehicle with ease, and dodging return fire just as well. The Ranger quickly mobilizes any infantryman (from repair crews to demolitions experts), darting in and out of cover, and allows easy ambushing of Soviet support forces from behind.
Battlefield Awareness
The Allies take military intelligence seriously, and ensure that their forces always maintain an upper hand when it comes to situational awareness. Their Longbow and Ranger units allow them to quickly patrol wide areas, while their sniper's well trained eyes and focused scope allow them to rapidly scan for threats from afar. To further take advantage of their stealthy nature, Mobile Radar Jammers can be brought in to disable Soviet overhead radar, forcing the communists to rely on visual confirmation of targets while the Allies hastily infiltrate their base or flank their armor columns. Their secret agent Spies can give a full report on enemy troop or vehicle compositions, spy on enemy communications from anywhere on the battlefield, or conduct covert sabotage of vital Soviet structures.
High-Tech Innovations
If you thought the atomic bomb was a modern marvel, wait till you see what else the boys in the lab have cooked up. Gap Generators, the early product of the Philadelphia Experiment, mask large portions of the Allied forces-- keeping them out of sync with the surrounding environment. The Soviets forces, not gifted by its effects, must wander blindly through the stormy shrouded region, whereas Allied forces within the rift see normally. Of course there are also Phase Tanks, with innovative optical camouflage; the final evolution of the Phase Transport projects, these invisible strike vehicles are able to launch salvos of high power missiles from great distances, then disappear before the enemy has time to react.
Superior Strategy
Spies relaying important data and disabling base defenses and repairs just at the right times, or sabotaging an atom bomb's launch preparations. Thieves transferring funds in large swaths, rapidly depleting Soviet funds while bolstering Allied coffers. Powerful anti-tank mines set to lay in wait amidst the brush, around corners, and at chokepoints, capable of killing a Tesla Tank in one blast. Sudden blind-spot strikes against Soviet support vehicles on their way to a battle or brutally ending Soviet mining operations. Rapid-response Mechanics and Medics, patching vehicles and men alike in the midst of combat so they can return to the action without ever leaving it. Enemy forces deprived of even knowing where the opposing force is hitting them from. And one bad-ass "special volunteer" with a chip on her shoulder and C4 in her hand, ready to infiltrate a Soviet base to raise some hell. This is the Allied Way.
