Title: Gameserver Operator Group: Bluehell Staff In-game: zunnie |
Server Side A Path Beyond (v1.40)
Download Mirrors: German Mirror Netherlands Mirror United States Mirror Important UPDATE: http://apb.game-maps.net/index.php?act=view&id=1312 Install AFTER installing the SSAPB 1.40 (overwrite files when prompted) Thanks a lot to WhiteDragon/Vloktboky for creating SSGM in the first place else this would not even have been possible... Visit their website over at http://www.black-cell.net An IRC Bot is included in the /eva/ folder. It is a BRenbot 1.53 modification by Catalyst ( http://ascendedwarriors.com ) which allows server owners, admins and moderators to administer their server from IRC. It shows detailed information about buildings, vehicles, players and killmessages etc. Donating is also possible. I included a few plugins made by reborn which are teamdonate.dll veteran.dll apb.dll and tsr.dll teamdonate.dll is already made active in the SSAPB.INI config under the plugin sections, however i disabled the veteran plugin as i figured not everyone would like it. To enable it simple remove the ; before the veteran.dll under the Plugins section in SSAPB.ini This will enable veteran mode and players receive points for killing players, structures, vehicles and defenses. When a certain level is reached they are granted additional weapons, health/armor upgrades or even health regen abilities. tsr.dll is a teamspeak regulator and puts playerse on Allies in channel for Allies and Soviets in channel for Soviets on Teamspeak, players must use the same nick on TS as they do ingame. apb.dll enables a dozenn fixes made by reborn(theguy) and allows you to set some options in apbplugin.ini such as !swap, antirefill and pointsdistribution system. For more useful plugins you should visit reborn(theguy) his website sometime: http://spencerelliott.co.uk/downloads.html Note: These plugins are not all tested with SSAPB and maybe incompatible.. This version of SSAPB (1.40) will allow you to set 4 different game-modes (1 is not compatible yet): 1- All Out War 2- Capture The Flag (Not yet compatible, CF 1.4 maybe) 3- Sniping Only 4- Building Mode 5- Infantry Only Game Modes All Out War: Anything goes, vehicle factories, infantry barracks and stuff is all available. I think i need not say more.. we all know this :P Capture The Flag: This game mode is not yet compatible with CF 1.31 but we are preparing CF 1.4 for it so you can probably CTF around when 1.4 is released. Sniping Only: Only Sniper characters can be purchased. Buildings, Ore Trucks and the likes are disabled or have their hitpoints set to 0. Building Mode: This game mode was designed to work with maps which have a Construction Yard available. When the game starts all buildings but the CY and Refinery are destroyed. One AI Ore Truck is created and players get one Player Controllable Ore Truck. Your objective is simple: Gather Ore and build your base and defenses, then destroy the enemy :P The CY is an important building in this game mode. Don't lose it The server owner can configure in SSAPB.INI how much money a building should cost as well as setting limits+costs for buildable defenses on a per-map basis. Additionally the server owner can configure how many extra credits each player receives every second (simulating a silo), this option can be turned off or on per map. Infantry Only: This game mode removes the War Factories from the game. Only infantry can be purchased. Building Purchases This SSAPB allows players to purchase back dead buildings if the server owner enables it in the SSAPB.INI config file. Also base defenses can be placed anywhere you want (excluding Coils) within 150 meters of the Conyard. Type !limits to view the defense limits. Type either !powerplant, !barracks, !warfactory, !subpen, !navalyard, !helipad, !servicedepot, !silo, !radardome, !refinery, !coil1, !coil2 to re-activate the buildings. A Construction Yard must be present on the map for these commands to work. It can be configured on a per-map basis what the turret/flametower/pillbox limits and costs should be. Random Crates If EnableCrates and EnableNewCrates are turned on the maps will spawn a crate randomly every 60 seconds. When picked up it will give you any of the below possibilities. Their probability percentages below can be configured by the server owner: Weapon=11 // Gives you a variety of weapons (not all weapons have a powerup preset Money=22 // Gives you money ranging between 1 and 1000 Points=12 // Gives you points ranging between 1 and 1000 Vehicle=8 // Gives you a random vehicle, excluding the TT which is bugged when spawned :S Death=8 // Kills you in a Demotrucklike explosion Armor=8 // Grants 15hp extra armor Health=8 // Grants 15hp extra health Character=8 // Gives you one of the available characters in the game, both Soviet and Allied Spy=3 // Sets you invisible to base defenses Thief=6 // Steals your credits ExtraCreds=6 // When picked up you will grant your whole team 2$/sec for as long as you are alive and DON'T switch character Have fun! Many thanks to WD, Jonwil, Vloktboky, reborn and the guys and girls that came on the testserver to test it out. I hope you guys like Greetz zunnie |

Zunnie strikes again! Is there anyway to make the crates spawn at random locations? Or at least have multiple possible spawn points? This way crate re-spawn time (set high to prevent crate-whoring) can be set shorter.
Also, what about the other types of crates? "Stealth" / "free nuke" / "flame combustion".....etc? If too overpowered just make them extremely rare to obtain (0.5% chance). How about a Giant Ant that gets spawned and starts mauling anything nearby? |

One more question Zunnie. Is there anyway to Globally show who the 'human silo' is? Gameplay would be a bit more interesting this way as there may be 'Protect the VIP' moments in regular C&C mode.

The Thief crate is the most annoying thing ever, followed closely by having to try to kill an Allied Volkov on Bonzai.

One more question Zunnie. Is there anyway to Globally show who the 'human silo' is? It already does that as far as i know? It says in public chat "blabla picked up the extracreds crate and will supply their team an additional $2/sec as long as (s)he is alive." The Thief crate is the most annoying thing ever, followed closely by having to try to kill an Allied Volkov on Bonzai. xD I updated the download mirrors, it's version 1.40 now, i included reborns(theguy) apb.dll which contains a bunch of fixes.. |

So what is going on? You can play on these servers without this SS? Many clans want to host their own servers. It also gives people like myself extra commands with which to test maps or just plain fool around. Example: ![]() And that is why Zunnie pwns. |
