Title: RA:APB Producer Group: Admin In-game: Chronojam |
A brand new free dedicated server (FDS) package is now available, thanks to efforts by zunnie, reborn and the contributions from a number of other great staff and community members.
What is the FDS? Simply put, it is the core gameserver application. FDS stands for "free dedicated server." It is a no-frills, console-based dedicated server for A Path Beyond. It allows other clients to connect and play. What is SSAPB? "Server-side-APB" is a collection of additional enhancements and code modifications designed to give a host more control over the server than the FDS alone provides, but is not able to be used in conjunction with a mere game client "listen server". It can only be applied to a true FDS, and is of no benefit unless the FDS is in use. What are the features? This package comes with everything you need to host a server. Beyond just the FDS, it has all the RA:APB 1.3.1 data files and maps, a fully functional IRC bot for management, full TeamSpeak 2 support, support for popular commands like !donate and !swap, anti-abuse code for refilling and demo trucks, plus support for alternate gameplay modes such as snipers-only, random crates, and a whole lot more. This hosting package is the definitive hosting platform for A Path Beyond, and is a ready-to-go solution for anybody looking to host a server for the public, for a clan, a place to host their fan maps, or anybody else who wants a permanent gameserver available. Only minimal configuration is required, and everything there is well documented. Find out more. |

Title: Gameserver Operator Group: Bluehell Staff In-game: zunnie |
A small bug with purchase options for Naval and Air units was discovered by ganein14.
I have fixed the issue now and you can download the update on game-maps.net http://apb.game-maps.net/index.php?act=view&id=1312 Download the fix and install the new scripts.dll on your server, it will all work correctly then. |
