On live events like the gamescom or the E3 a live Q&A is really cool. It is easy to do and the fans are heard.
If you use the internet I prefer text Q&As over voice Q&As. People that aren't really good in english can take their time and write down their question. There is also no problem of misunderstanding someone because of his/her accent/voice. Another advantage is that you have everything written down. For people who aren't good in english text is better again. Why? Because they can take their time and read slowly through the text. (and look up the words they don't know) That is way easier than listening to something that is too fast for them. (even listening to it multiple times wouldn't help much because it is too fast) |

But, you have made me consider those whose English skills aren't up to par (like yours), maybe a transcript of the Q&A can be done to see if a question is answered? but I am not writing out the possibility of a "fan questions" section of the Q&A where fans can submit written questions to be answered during the Q&A and I am planning to have a structured environment for the Q&A so everyone can ask a question and can HEAR the answer. :3 |

Chronojam sometimes adds text Q&As to his blogs. Forgot about that. To add a part for written down questions sounds like a plan. Another possibility is to do it like the last APB live Q&A. People could be voiced and asked their question over TS or send their questions to someone (drunkkill or Cat5 back then) over IRC. 3rd, just because I mentioned the advantages of text Q&As over voice Q&As for not-so-good-english-speakers doesn't mean I have the problem myself. I just know the problems others have. There are players who really can't speak english and they are happy when a community site, they know, translates the Q&A/interview/etc. into their native language. (IIRC an old interview with Chronojam, Renardin and Ex-Death was translate from English to German) |

Title: Rifle Soldier Group: Members In-game: GeneralCamo I KNOW HOW TO PLAY |
I think that this is a good idea! HOWEVER, there should still be mini blogs. Bassicly, all it has is the recorded live Q&A, and model updates. And some other things that are significant.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
And those who don't want to speak on microphone could write their questions in the channel chat instead, then they could be answered in the order they are received. |

Well then, I'm sure it would be a good thing. And yes, we need to allow people without a microphone to participate. All we would need is a channel in MP's teamspeak just for these live Q&As. And we will need someone to record them so everyone can listen in, and it could be edited for quality (*cough* Wallywood *Cough*).
