your damn right.... they just blow the game off.... unlike activision... they stay with every game and updates them frequently ROFL. Activision is just as bad. Furthermore they don't even know what games they distributed 10 years ago. As a NetStorm (released and heavily fucked by activision) heavy supporter, I have my own experience with them. |

They don't make a fix because EA doesn't care about any game other than their most recent release. (Or their two most recent releases at best.) EA is Evil, their only want is to destroy CnC, to annhilate it, nuke each goddamn Tiberian Sun copy and f*ck you up the ass. It's just pathetic. ![]() That was my anti-nostalgic rage post of the week. This post has been edited by APB-FR-Cyann: Jul 29 2010, 01:50 AM |

Try using the first decade patch...
http://www.cncnz.com/downloads/track/file.php?id=390 That makes all the games playable without the CD too! Ive never had problems with TS or RA2 as they both throw the errors you have found. However on my netbook it did have errors now and again! Doesn't any more though |

Stay on topic please... this is a technical help thread not an EA Games flame thread.
I use Windows 7 Ultimate and The First Decade unofficial patch 1.03 revision 4 and all my games work fine, provided FRAPS is off. As far as classics go, I don't think you can get worse than that. |

As Mighty BOB said, the fix is indeed located in that CNCNZ topic, except it required a bit of digging.
I'm guessing that the problem lies in Nod's Laser turrets firing when you edge away from them, the same problem that I had. Download this, unrar it and place the ddraw.dll file in your Tib Sun folder. It fixed the problem for me, and I now only have internal errors if I play with unstable mods. Try that, and let us know if it's fixed. This post has been edited by MAX76549: Jul 29 2010, 09:08 AM |

It's called a Waveclass error, hyperpatch is in the work to fix most of the original TS bugs and adding new features.

It's called a Waveclass error Yeah that's it. If you took a good look at the supplied picture in the 1st post, it had an Obelisk firing towards the South, and that's usually the bugged direction when it comes to Waveclass errors. That file I supplied in my previous post SHOULD fix it. tl;dr version, I just made a useless post posting stuff everyone already knows, go on |
